Apple looks kind of like a nerdy girl student. A teacher's pet, if you will. I'm sure that's the angle that Konami was going for when they designed her. She isn't unattractive, but I'm a little perplexed as to why Sheena would be fawning over her in the original game... However, she is wearing glasses, which is something of a soft-spot for me. I love gals who wear glasses... Probably why I really love Shion's character design in Xenosaga. ^_^ B |
| Personality: | Apple has next to no personality in this installment. I won't spoil what I'll say about her in Suikoden II, but in this game, she's just a girl with glasses, studying under Mathiu. When you first recruit her, she seems kind of bitchy. Even afterwards, She isn't very sociable to Tir & company, but she does agree with Mathiu's decision after joining you. Thus it sort of seems like she's cool with you... To me, however, her personality is really vague, and because of that, It's really hard to see how she becomes the young woman she is in Suikoden II. | Overall: | I have to rate her based on how she is in this game, but that's very very hard for me to do. I'll say this much. I absolutely love Apple, but in this game... She's just "there." C |
