Lilly Pendragon

Description:

Lilly is the daughter of Gustav Pendragon, president of the Tinto Republic. She meets Hugo, while searching for the Flame Champion and the Fire Bringer. She believes that the Flame Champion is responsible for raiding Tinto caravans.

Aesthetics:

Lilly is incredibly hot. Her outfit, that hat... Yeah, she's hot and very, very well-dressed. She easily has one of the best character designs in all of Suikoden. Her looks seriously contend with Chris' looks, which says a ton. S

Personality:

Everyone seems to think that Lilly is this raving whore of a bitch, and to be quite honest. I don't see it. Sure, she's certainly self-centered, and doesn't seem to care about her servants, Reed and Samus, but both of her servants are morons in their own regard. A lot of people don't seem to realize this, but her personality is more multi-faceted than people like to give her credit for. She's selfish, and self-centered at times, but she's also naive, charging at Yuber, and overly excitable and hyper, like when Sgt. Jordi and Hugo are talking about the Flame Champion right in front of her. She goes wonky, but everyone completely ignores her. It's kind of amusing. I really don't think she's a total bitch. She's just a little weird. For instance, that time she was sleeping in despite the chaos at Buddehuc Castle, she remarks, "You can count on me to keep sleeping!" I dunno, I'm biased a little 'cause of her looks, but I honestly don't mind Lilly one bit. B

Usefulness in Battle:

Lilly is pretty capable in combat. I often make a point to use her, 'cause she's fun to look at, and she's pretty decent to boot. She can actually use lightning magic halfway decently, if you teach her and give her one of those rings that boosts lightning magic. The downside to using her, is that she takes more damage than the best physical fighters. B+

Usefulness in War Battle:

She's not that bad. About as good as she is in combat. B

Overall:

I really like Lilly, and while people think I'm stupid for it, I'll keep liking her anyway. It helps that Lilly is the only halfway interesting character in Hugo's chapters, aside from Hugo himself... Lilly may seem like a selfish brat, but there's a lot more to her than meets the eye. Kidd finds out some interesting stuff about her, like how her parents never paid attention to her, and about how she has pretty poor table manners... Which is something that amuses the piss out of me. Another fun fact about Lilly is that she insulted Chris at a dance ball and the two of them tore up the place fighting. God, why didn't Konami include this as a scene? Anyway, they became friends after the fight, so if Chris likes her, she can't be that bad, right? B+
